In the global wave of the medical industry's rapid transition towards green and low-carbon practices, Winner Medical has been steadfastly guided by the principle of " Sustainable Growth, Smarter Carbon Reduction." In June 2024, Winner Medical (Chongyang) received the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, ranking in the top 35% globally for sustainability performance. As an internationally recognized authority in corporate social responsibility assessment, Ecovadis evaluates companies across four major themes and 21 dimensions, including the environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. Securing a position among the top 35% of evaluated companies is not only a high recognition of Winner Medical's efforts in sustainable development but also provides clear direction for the company's green development strategy. One month later, Winner Medical (Jingmen) was recognized by EcoVadis for its commitment to sustainable business practices. This achievement demonstrates the effective replication and promotion of the company's green production management experience, further enhancing the company's brand image and international reputation. It has also granted Winner Medical a competitive edge in the global medical consumables supply chain, winning the trust of more partners.
In September 2024, it marked a significant milestone in Winner Medical's green development journey. Winner Medical joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and formally committed to setting science-based emissions reduction targets. Initiated jointly by international organizations such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), SBTi aims to encourage companies to set emission reduction targets in line with climate science. This move vividly demonstrates Winner Medical's unwavering commitment to sustainable development and represents a crucial step in building a green medical industry chain and leading new developments in the healthcare sector. Concurrently, the company conducted internal training on SBTI and ISO14064 standards, enhancing the carbon management awareness and professional capabilities of all employees to lay a solid foundation for scientific carbon management. By December 2024, Winner Medical's emissions reduction targets were formally accepted and published on the SBTi website, showcasing Winner Medical's firm promise and practical actions in scientific carbon emission reduction to the world.
Since 2025, Winner Medical has continued to accelerate its green development efforts. From January to February, the company vigorously promoted energy-saving and low-carbon initiatives, continuously increasing the volume of green electricity generated by its solar power projects. Winner Medical procured certified renewable electricity and obtained Green Electricity Transaction Certificates as part of its decarbonization strategy), which actively supported the development of green power, contributing to the global energy structure transformation. In February, Carbon data from all subsidiaries were independently verified, and the company issued an internal “Carbon Verification Management Manual".
