Elastowin is made of high twist, elastic cotton cloth with hot-melt adhesive. It helps provide elasticity needed for pressure dressings. It is heavy duty, porous and skin friendly. A colored line centered on the backcloth aids in uniform application. Elastowin is best used when moderate to maximum compression is required.
