Winner Medical Purchased New Purcotton Production Line to Meet Increasing Demand
[2009-08-27]

SHENZHEN, China, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- On August 10, 2009, Winner Medical Group Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WMDG; "Winner Medical", or the "Company") entered into a contract with a machine producer in China to purchase a new production line for its PurCotton products.

This new machineries will constitute the fourth production line of PurCotton products, and will be installed and operated in the Company's subsidiary in Huanggang, and it is expected to start production in the second quarter of 2010.

Mr. Jianquan Li, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "The recognition of top-tier clients to the premium quality of our PurCotton products leads to an increasing market demand. Currently, orders from our clients in China, the United States, Japan, and other countries reached approximately 150 tonnes per month; and it is expected to increase in the future. The new production line will increase our production capacity of PurCotton products so as to meet the increasing demand."

"As we have gained more experience after installing the first two lines, we believe the production capacity of the fourth production line will be much higher than the first or the second production line, though they are similar in nature and are all produced in China."

"This innovative, technologically-enhanced fabric offers significant advantages to synthetic nonwoven products, for instance, it is more eco- friendly, with greater absorbency and higher tensile strength. Furthermore, our patented advanced automation and design process, which is obtained in China, the United States, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, and 34 member states of the European Patent Office, reduces the average cycle time for production of the finished cloth from raw materials. We will continue to develop the market demand for PurCotton while expanding the production accordingly, and we believe PurCotton will give Winner Medical a strong competitive edge in the global marketplace," Mr. Li concluded.
