Following a major earthquake hit Sichuan Province in southwest China on May 12th, 2008, Winner Medical Group Inc. (“Winner Medical”) donated its medical dressing products to the Red Cross Organization and emergency response team in Sichuan Province. The first and second donation of medical products valued 500,000 RMB has arrived Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, on May 13th and 14th, respectively. Follow on donations will be made, and the total value of Winner Medical’s donation is expected to reach 1 million RMB. All donated goods were and will be transported to Sichuan Province by air.

The 7.8 magnitude quake hit the county of Wenchuan in Sichuan province at 14:28 local time. China's Seismological Bureau stated that the earthquake had affected more than half the country's provinces and municipalities. Fortunately, the operations of Winner Medical’s subsidiaries are not affected.

Immediately after the crisis take place, Winner Medical’s management decides to arrange donations of its medical dressing products at the first time, which includes bandages, gauze, surgical packs, surgical gowns and etc. The already donated goods are from the company’s inventory of high quality finished products. All Winner Medical factories’ productions are properly arranged to increase the manufacture utilization, and to produce more goods for the future donations
